Based on assignment the Maintenance technician supports the Facility from Preventive and Predictive maintenance in support of the Manufacturing process and rebuild area. The Maintenance technician must react to and assist in any equipment failure and provide support to processing barriers as well as low equipment performance. Perform high ended maintenance duties as driven by the computerized maintenance system involving PMs, equipment refurbishment, Predictive maintenance, fabrication of component parts and machine modification/fabrication as instructed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: o Proficiently operate major equipment. o Changeover equipment o Service, refurbish and/or rebuild that equipment parts and/or sub-assembly. o Modify and/or fabricate equipment from engineering direction o Educate other employees on that equipment after being certified to do so through Central maintenance training. o Work within the Centralized Maintenance management system. o Document procedures. o Organize and complete scheduled PMs, manufacturing continuous events/projects that are assigned. o Component part fabrication from sample and/or prints o Basic planning/requisitioning of required materials on assigned work o Predictive maintenance routes and data gathering o Predictive maintenance analysis/reporting with assistance/direction o Utilize trouble shooting techniques/root cause analysis to determine the corrective action on problem/issues EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE o High School graduate or G.E.D. is basic for this job o Successful completion of a 2 year Technical School Training in Industrial maintenance. (Preferred) o 5-7 years in the field of manufacturing and/or process in the trade of maintenance repair, rebuild, refurbishment, and fabrication of equipment o Group leader on training 3-8 employees o Electromechanical and Hydraulics experience preferred
